The University of Montana men's lacrosse team got off to a hot start in Washington-Grizzly Stadium, scoring four quick points against the Montana State Bobcats.

However, to the frustration of the coaching staff and bench, the Griz dropped their lead in the second quarter after the Bobcats rallied in a scoring run that would win them the game 14-9.

Their strong defense kept the Griz down to one point in the second quarter while their offense scored relentlessly, putting seven points into the back of the net.

The Griz pulled it together at half, managing to get four points in during the second half of the game. But the Bobcats managed six.

The loss leaves the Griz at six wins and five losses on the season. They will have a week to rest and practice before facing Western Washington University and Seattle University next weekend, on Friday and Saturday respectively.
