The Missoula Police Department requested assistance looking for a suspicious male in the Eastgate parking lot. The man was last seen walking west, wearing a dark red coat, jeans and a brown stocking cap. He may have been carrying a chicken, according to the report.
Feb. 20, 9:49 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of a stolen sandwich. The manager of the UC Market had detained a man who had allegedly pocketed the sandwich and an energy drink, said Capt. Gary Taylor with the Office of Public Safety. The man was cited for misdemeanor theft, Taylor said.
Feb. 20, 9:14 p.m.
Officers were called to Rimini Court, in University Village, following a 911 report of a domestic disturbance. After consulting several witnesses, police arrested a man who had allegedly struck a woman in the face, Taylor said. The man was cited for partner/family-member assault, Taylor said. The woman did not need medical attention, he said.
