UM ceramic artist Brady Monk in in his third year of the ceramics program in the School of Art, but his journey to get there was harder than many of us can imagine. In 2011, Brady was shot in the head during a home invasion. He survived, but his entire left side was paralyzed. His long recovery, and his development as a ceramic artist, is shown here in "Marks of Existence" a Kaimin documentary short.
